Uniline Safety Systems

In order to ensure that workers climbing ladders to access roofs and other platforms for maintenance and inspection tasks can mount and demount the ladder in complete safety, Uniline have introduced a new range of ladder extension brackets.

The brackets, which have been designed for maximum ease of installation, clamp to a wide range of existing ladder styles and allow the EasyClimber vertical climbing system to extend 1.3m above the working platform. The brackets have an additional attachment eye which has been tested to the European Standard EN795 for Class A Anchor devices.

Often the most dangerous part of access is to and from a platform when using a fixed ladder. Having a stable extension bracket combined with an anchor point at the top to assist getting on and off the ladder safely is of great benefit to the user and significantly reduces the risk of a fall occurring.

The ladder extension bracket can be used in conjunction with all EasyClimber Systems or as a stand alone anchor point for the attachment of a fall arrest device, such as a retractable lanyard or rope and rope grab.
