RoofSafe Roof Anchors and Fall Arrest Anchors - Deadweight

The Uniline Deadweight Roof Anchor System is a unique height safety product. It offers both fall arrest and work restraint capabilities using a series of weights joined to a central plate and anchorage point. The roof anchors are designed to be placed on an approved roofing surface and in the event of a fall use their counter weight to arrest the fall of a worker. As they are not fixed to the roof, the anchors move when loaded and therefore it is extremely important that attention is paid to the precautions and exclusions for use.

The roof anchors can also be used as part of a more comprehensive height safety system, incorporating either a Uni-8 or Uni-16 horizontal cable safety system. In this case the user can attach to the cable with a Unigrab allowing the user to move along the height safety system and intermediate brackets without interruption.

This provides a practical hands free solution for larger roof areas, where roof penetrations are not desirable. When using the Deadweight Roof Anchors in conjunction with a cable system, Uniline’s normal rules regarding system designs apply and all system designs should be calculated. The roof anchors product is designed to provide a facility to enable safe working at heights in accordance with current regulations and safe access to a variety of otherwise dangerous situations, or to restrain personnel from putting themselves at risk.
