Roof safety rail for standing seam roofs
Roofsafe Rail can be installed directly on to the outer skin of standing seam roof sheets providing they are not fragile and have been verified as structurally suitable for a roof safety rail either by test or by an engineer. (Minimum material thickness 0.42mm steel and 0.9mm aluminium)
The Roofsafe Rail is installed using a series of Quick Fix clamps that do not penetrate the roof at all. Clamp locations and clamp size are determined by the pitch frequency of the standing seam profile and customers should consult Uniline for advice. This roof safety rail system makes installation fast and simple, saving time and money.
The Roofsafe Rail when installed to our technical specification provides a minimum 32kN of resistance per linear metre, enabling the roof safety rail to be used by multiple workers for work restraint, fall arrest and abseil applications. (For abseil applications the pitch of the standing seam must be 0.5m or less).
Roof Safety Rail - RoofSafe Rail - Performance & Guarantee
