RoofSafe Rail for Composite & Built Up Roof Systems
Roof safety rails for fall protection
For roof safety RoofSafe Rail can be installed directly on to the outer skin of composite and built up metal profiled roof sheets providing they are not fragile and have been verified as structurally suitable either by test or by an engineer. (Minimum material thickness 0.42mm steel and 0.7mm aluminium).
The Roofsafe Rail is installed using a series of 5.2mm aluminium self sealing rivets, with a strip of butyl tape beneath the extrusion to prevent water ingress. The roof safety rail has a pre-marked line to identify the correct fixing positions and provide stability for the drill bit during installation. This roof safety rail system makes installation fast and simple, saving time and money.
The Roofsafe Rail when installed to our technical specification provides a minimum 32kN of resistance per linear metre, enabling it to be used by multiple workers for work restraint, fall arrest and abseil applications.
